Are you my mother

a;lsdkjfa;dklfj

I'm currently debating over my senior quote. Should I stick with your run-of-the-mill pseudo philosophical nonsense or sneak in something with some actual substance?

I'm gunning for a Malcolm X quote, but I wouldn't put it past my Catholic School administration to deem it as too inappropriate and suggest something "suitable" or some bullshit.

Whatever.

"Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery."
Malcolm X

P.S. I've got a backup Zora Neale Hurston quote. While still pretty badass, the idea of it creating less of a fuss with my principal makes the quote more than slightly less appealing to me.

"Sometimes, I feel discriminated against, but it does not make me angry. It merely astonishes me. How can any deny themselves the pleasure of my company? It's beyond me.”
Zora Neale Hurston ♥

I'm going to start keeping track of the movies I've watched this year, mostly for my own purposes.

First off:

In my attempts to stray from the generic, convoluted crap that I watch all too often (FUCK YOU, BRIDE WARS), I decided to watch this Benjamin Button.

HOLY SHIT SO GOOD.

It was beautiful. Effects, cinematography, blah blah blah . . . I don't get complaints of the movie's length because there was always something to see. I mean, Milk was a full 40 minutes shorter but finishing that one up felt like a fucking chore.

Also, I don't think I ever quite *get* the Brad Pitt love until I see him in a Fincher movie. That is all.

Next up *fingers crossed*, SLUMDOG
